Menene respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This document explains what data we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have in connection with its processing.
We process personal data in accordance with the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) and relevant legal regulations of the Slovak Republic.
2. What data we collect
Data from your events:
- Photos uploaded to the gallery
- Questions and votes in the Q&A section
- Feedback provided through questionnaires
- Event program
- All event information
- Onboarding information from attendees (e.g. position, what I'm looking for)
Data from attendees and organizers:
- Profile created by attendee (email, name, social networks, bio)
- Push notification token (for sending notifications)
3. How we use your data
We use your personal data exclusively for the following purposes:
- Providing services: Enabling organizers to manage events and attendees to use application functions
- Communication: Sending email invitations, verification codes, and important information about events
- Push notifications: Informing attendees about program changes and important event moments
- Improving services: Analyzing platform usage for optimization and development of new features
- Security: Protecting against fraud and ensuring platform integrity
4. Data sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties. Data can only be shared in the following cases:
- Within the event: Attendee profiles are visible to other event attendees (in accordance with organizer settings)
- Technical providers: We use third-party services for storing uploads, hosting, analytics, transaction processing, and sending emails (Cloudflare, Hetzner, Stripe, Resend)
- Legal requirements: If required by law or legal regulation
5. Data retention
We retain personal data only for the time necessary for the purposes for which it was collected:
- Organizer accounts: Until account deletion or 2 years after last activity
- Event data: For the duration of the event's existence + 1 year for archival purposes
- Photos and gallery: Until removal by the organizer or attendee request
6. Your rights
In accordance with GDPR, you have the following rights:
- Right to access: You can request a copy of personal data we process about you
- Right to rectify: You can request correction of incorrect or incomplete data
- Right to erase: You can request removal of your personal data (right to be forgotten)
- Right to restrict: You can request restriction of processing of your data
- Right to object: You can object to the processing of your personal data

7. Data security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse:
- Data transmission encryption (HTTPS/TLS)
- Secure cloud data storage
- Regular security audits
- Limited data access only for authorized employees
8. Cookies and tracking
The platform uses the minimum amount of cookies needed for its operation. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking for marketing purposes.

- Authentication cookies (for login)
- Session cookies (for maintaining application state)
